Memory Loss

Ever heard of memory loss? Amnesia?

What if because our pride, arrogance, etc...Allah made us one of the thousands of people who simply just lost their memories? Just forgot everything and everyone?

Not even a clue of who they are?

Accidents...diseases...all kinds of things can affect the memory of the human brain.

What if we not only forgot our names and families....but Islam?

Just a thought to ponder....and be thankful for the bounty of Allah that he gave us this deen.

"And be ye not like those who forgot Allah; and He made them forget their own souls! Such are the rebellious transgressors!" (59:19)

"Such as took their religion to be mere amusement and play, and were deceived by the life of the world." That day shall We forget them as they forgot the meeting of this day of theirs, and as they were wont to reject Our signs." (7:51)

"Taste ye then - for ye forgot the Meeting of this Day of yours, and We too will forget you - taste ye the Penalty of Eternity for your (evil) deeds!" (32:41)
